The official music video was another promo shot by BoxBot and one of two videos shot in the same weekend over approximately 24 hours.

The next 12 hours consisted of cars, all-female band and artists featured on the track, Skyrah Kane.

“The Ups and Downs Of Freelance Film Making” at Cornerhouse Manchester For Exposures UK Film Festival 2010

There was a lot of helpful advice dispensed at an Exposures Film Festival panel discussion at Manchester’s Cornerhouse in November 2010. Successful director Phil Hawkins chaired the session and a group of industry professionals talked about their experiences on becoming a freelance filmmaker.

Behind The Scenes of “WiNNER” by KiD BriTiSH – Doc Style Shorts ft. Clint Boon, Jessie Rose & The Band On WiNNER.

So KiD BRiTiSH’s new track, “WiNNER” has been out for a few weeks now, and I hear it’s doing well (see the official music video here).

I’ve made some more “Behind The Scenes” videos (click here for more)

When were shooting the video, we had some serious V.I.P clout, with the likes of Sir Geoff Hurst MBE, Clint Boon of the Manchester legends, Inspiral Carpets fame and more recently a DJ on XFM Manchester as well as fellow musician, Jessie Rose, of The Jessie Rose Trip.
As a huge music fan I was really interested in exploring the process of writing a track, to submitting it to various labels, agencies and publishers which in this case resulted in the track being one of the headline tracks for the new 2010 Fifa World Cup Game.
In the videos I’ve embedded on this page, you can hear the band talking about the process they went through with this particular track as well as thoughts from Clint Boon and Jessie Rose.

Behind The Scenes of “WiNNER” by KiD BriTiSH – Digital Story and Performance Montage

As part of my work with BoxBot, a production company which specialises in music videos, I produce “Behind the Scenes” or “Making Of” videos which complement the official music videos. (click here for the Kid BRiTiSH music video for “WiNNER”)

My aim with these videos is to show a side of the musician and artist that many fans do not often get to see. I encourage bands and musicians to have fun while on set so that their fans can get to see them relaxed and having fun. This in turn should help create rapport with the fan base, which in turn should have a positive knock effect for records sales and hopefully adding to the reasons that people would connect with a band and therefore share the music, videos and further content on the official sites.

H-Dhami & KhaoZ Media Community Media Funds, Young Achievers Award, Phoenix Centre, Creative Pods,Skindred & Take Over 09 (Sept 09 mini update)

I’m currently working with H-Dhami, of Rishi Rich Productions, on a release for later in the year!

I CAN’T WAIT to let this out the bag, but wanted to drop a line to anyone who may read this blog..

Also, KhaoZ Media has been part of a really exciting city wide bid which will really put York in the Community Media map and make media production an accessible option for many many more people in a BIG way. I’m well chuffed since I’ve put so much effort into developing the KhaoZ Media model since January 08, and now we have ££££ to develop the concept within a city wide project.Wow…
I would be partying, but we have about 4 projects to deliver in the next month.

Shooting Mumzy Stranger at Manchester Pride 09 – Performing with Riffs & Rays

Mumzy Stranger performed at Manchester pride at 3pm on Saturday 28th August, and was there to cover this in a behind the scenes stylee with Duncan from Cake and Cheese Photography – my photographic friend who I work with when covering events.

Ni Aajah Veh “Behind The Scenes”for Rishi Rich Productions

We were back in the studio again this time, with Oli the producer form Box Bot mucking in with a tiny brush to paint the back wall red, while the runners had the novel idea of using a roller, who would have thought eh? (it didn’t quite happen like that actually)

We had a team of dancers, a few set changes and TWO Red camera’s out again, courtesy of Mike Costelloe, one of the 3 Box Bot Company Directors, which makes me excited like getting a new toy at christmas every time. I’m not allowed to touch though which is a bit rubbish – although I did ask if I could could have a go on the Steadicam, which was probably not the smartest of moves.

Reflecting on Mumzy Stranger’s Runaway and Behind The Scenes of “One More Dance”, Behind The Scenes

Mumzy’s Runaway shoot

Following the success of Behind The Scenes to One More Dance by Mumzy Stranger, which has had over 3000 hits on MTVIggy, I’ve been hired again by Rishi Rich Productions to shoot a behind the scenes for Mumzy Strangers upcoming new song, “Runaway”. I’m not entirely sure when this is due to be released, but it’s a great song that demonstrates Mumzy’s “get your lighters in the air” anthem ballads!
